Tropical Swallowtail Moth photographed in Bangkok, Thailand.
A Tropical Swallowtail Moth (above) that dropped in recently.
They range from the Himalaya to Borneo and this fella chose Thailand, lying square in the middle between the two, to rest, hanging from my washing. The wingspan ranges from 100-160 mm.
Of similar size and impact, I captured this amazing moth (below) resting high up in the eaves of a skyscraper in central Bangkok. I was inside looking out of this huge window and pressed close to the glass with my camera. I’m trying to identify the species. I’ll update the post soon.
