This is a rehearsal for a fantastic traditional sitting dance from southern Thailand. Filmed in Santichaiprakarn Park, Phra Arthit Road, Bangkok.
Explanation taken from Thai website below: “Dikir” is probably from the Arabic word “dhikr” or “zikr,” “remembrance,” which is the term used for musical performances that are also rituals intended to get closer to Allah (especially in Sufism).
